hey alley!

So I ended up changing my mind about compiling the senshi, and decided to just do individual illustrations of them. So I finished Jupiter as a test, and I really like how she came out!

I tried to make Jupi thicker, but in a more muscular way, while still being traditionally feminine. So I gave her more muscular arms and legs, and a curvier body. It was kind of a challenge, but a lot of fun. My favorite thing about Makoto is her struggle with being a strong, tall, masculine girly girl, and that’s what I wanted to convey most in this image.

Here’s the sketch for Uranus. :D I’ve also got Neptune and Moon almost done. Chibi-Moon, Saturn, and Mercury are roughly sketched out too.

I probably won’t post any more until they’re all done, then post the finished image, and then all of them individually.
